The Whitewright Sun Thursday, November 19, 1953 pg. 1 FUNERAL TODAY FOR MRS. M.Z. JONES Funeral services are to be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Earnheart Chapel for Mrs. M.Z. Jones, 79, conducted by Rev. U.C. Broach and Rev. Newton V. Cole, Baptist ministers. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ernest Sewell, Eldon Sewell, Baird Sewell, Iral Sewell, Mitchell Guthrie, and John Barrett. Mrs. Jones died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in a Sherman hospital. Mrs. Jones was born October 3, 1874, in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.G. McGInnis. She came to Texas with her parents at the age of three years, and to Grayson County at the age of four. She was married to Mr. Jones January 1, 1903 at Whitewright. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Royce Jones of Whitewright and Clifton Jones of Sherman; one daughter, Mrs. O.L.
