  Bonham, Texas - Elizabeth Kay Owen, 53, of Denison, Texas passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Graveside services were held Tuesday afternoon, March 17, 2020 at Bethel Cemetery near Whitewright, Texas. Elizabeth was born in Whitewright on May 27, 1966, daughter of Bobby and Peggy Skipworth Butts. She married Rickey Owen on March 20, 1993 in Celeste, Texas. Elizabeth was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. Elizabeth loved to read, crochet, and her Mom noted she could also paint really well. She is survived by her mother, Peggy Butts of Leonard; husband, Rickey Owen of Denison; twin daughters, Alicia South and husband, Brandon, of Kemp, Oklahoma; and Jessica Ford and husband, Jeff, of Denison, Texas; grandchildren, Ariana South, Kaitlyn South and Olivia Ford; brother, Richard Butts of Decatur, Texas; sisters, Darlene Lehmam of Kiowa, Oklahoma; and Carolyn Sanders of Leonard, Texas; nieces and nephews, Brittini Washington; Randall Tolbert; and Kirsten Sanders.
