Rolen, 68, retired Frisco employee, died at his home, 1215 South Montgomery, Monday at 1 a.m. after an illness of six weeks. Funeral services will be held at the Waldo Funeral Chapel, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Jack Selcraig, pastor of the Forest Avenue Baptist Church, will conduct. Pallbearers will be A.A. O'Gorman, James Easley, R.L. Skaggs, Luther Gray, Charlie Clayton and Leon Shillings. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery. The body will remain ata the funeral home until time for services. Mr. Rolen was born at Bryan, Tennessee, March 2, 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rolen. He was married to Vallie Dee Kellough in Grayson County, September 23, 1897. She died in 1913. He retired as a Frisco employee in 1934 because of ill health. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Robert N. Rolen, Sherman; three daughters, Mrs. F.T. Gattis, Wichita Falls; Mrs. Cleo Gaines, Sherman; and Mrs. L.C. Skaggs, Waco and seven grandchildren.
