The Denison Herald Tuesday, October 25, 1921 pg. 2 INDEPENDENCE A.H. Rannals died last Friday night. He was 84 years old. He came to Grayson County about 35 years ago from the state of Georgia, and resided in this community ever since, clearing up to two farms and putting them in cultivation. He lost his first wife some years ago and married Rachael Willington, who survives him. Most of his children were with him with death came. He was laid to rest in Berry Cemetery Saturday afternoon, Rev. Bates, conducting the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Tilford McConnell of Oklahoma were here to attend the funeral of Mr. Rannals.
