SHERMAN NEWS NOTES
The remains of Mrs. Martha Isbell, who died in this city at an early
hour yesterday morning, were taken to Bells this morning for interment.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Talley funeral
chapel for Miss Tommie Isbell, 72, who died Sunday at 4 a.m. at her home
on Sherman route 2, where she had resided 10 years.
Rev. Claud Johnston, pastor of the North Park Baptist church,
officiated. Burial was in the North Bells cemetery.
Miss Isbell was born April 13, 1869 in Bells. She came to the Sherman
area 30 years ago from Bells. Miss Isbell was a member of the Christian
church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Sina Hollingsworth of El Reno,
Oklahoma; a nephew, Frank Simpson of Sherman; and a niece, Mrs. Taylor Autrey
of Trenton.
