January 4, 1889 Mrs. Abe SHUEMATE Bells, Tex., Jan. 3. - This city was made sad this morning by the announcement of the death of Mrs. Abe Shuemate. This good woman has lingered in her last illness a long time. She was a light to society, a loving mother, a devoted wife and a generous neighbor and devout Christian. She was buried to-day.
