Jerry Davis and Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment followed in Basin Springs Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service on Monday. She passed away Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Born July 3, 1909 in DeLeon, Texas, she was the daughter of Robert and Ollie White Welch. She married Chester Page Eldredge May 31, 1925 in Gainesville. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Glenn Eldredge of Mineral Wells; three daughters, Bobbie Ruth Lamkin of Garland, Jeane Hartline of Whitesboro and Shirley Ann Thomas of Carolina Beach, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Eldredge; a son Carrolton Eldredge; and her parents, Robert and Ollie Welch; and 2 sisters, Jessie Woolsey and Ellen Carney.
