Graveside services were 3:00 PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Akers Cemetery in Sherman, Texas
Dorothy was born Sunday, November 27, 1927 in Tulia, Texas to George & Alma (Ross) Stratton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jerry Don Stratton; brothers Charles Stratton, Tommy Stratton & Dewy Camper.
She is survived by her daughter Betty Woodall of Paris, Texas; son Bobby Askue & wife Elizabeth of Dover, Arkansas; daughter Patricia Duhon & husband Robert of Whitewright, Texas; sister Frances Mahan & husband Bill of Atkins, Arkansas; grandchildren Lisa Dearman & husband Kenny of Detroit, Texas; Shawn Woodall of Bogata, Texas; Michael David Hall & wife Shelia of Sherman, Texas; Christopher Hall & wife Heather of Arkansas; Amy Davis & husband Jonathan of Houston, Texas; ;Jason Askue; great grandchildren Lacy Rinks of Quitman, Texas; Rustin Beaty of Anadarko, Oklahoma; Nathan Hall of Sherman, Texas; Tristan Davis of Houston, Texas' and great great grandchild, Kiptyn Rinks of Quitman, Texas; nieces, Jo Ellen Shell, Renae Cothran, Diedetra Watson; nephews, Greg Mahan, Dewey Mahan; and special friend Mary Smith of Farmersville, Texas. - - - Bratcher Funeral Home
