Lloyd Wayne Bush, 44, of Howe, Texas, went home to be with his Lord on May 20, 1996, at his home in Howe,Texas.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday,23, 1996 at Harvest Time Assembly of God Church in Sherman, Texas with Rev. Irby McKnight and Rev. Shane VanMeter officiating. Burial was in Akers Cemetery. Flesher Funeral Home of Howe has charge of arrangements.
Lloyd was born November 19, 1951 in Hugo Oklahoma. He was the son of Frank Bush and Ruby Bryant-Bush. He was a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He was a medical technologist, and was employed by Wilson N. Jones Memorial Hospital as a laboratory supervisor. He had also been a sports official for many years, and for the last serveral years he had called girls high school volleyball.
Lloyd married Dora Jean Mullins on June 14,1991, in Howe.
He was a member of Harvest Time Assembly of God Church. Lloyd was a loving husband, father, son, and brother, and was a good friend to many. He loved and was loved.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Jean Bush;sons, Randy Bush and Brian Bush, both of Sherman Texas; mother Ruby Bush of Durant, Oklahoma; father and stepmother, Frank and Wanda Bush of Sherman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Wanda Bush of Rowlett' and Mark and Stacey Bush of Durant, Oklahoma; stepdaughters and stepsons-in-law; Paula and Vance Reynolds of Howe; and Carrie and Jon Frith of Whitesboro; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law Chris and Kendra Mullins of Van Alstyne; two grandchildren, Mallory and Zachary Reynolds of Howe; nieces and nephews, two step-brothers; and two step-sisters.
Pallbearers were Jimmie Bearden, Chuck Cox, Tim Redd, Tom Barker, Dwain Roberts and Jerry Roberts.
