April 29, 2009 Graveside services for Jerrie Ann Armstrong, 68-year-old Pottsboro resident, were held Thursday morning, April 30, at Akers Cemetery. Dannel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Armstrong died on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Brentwood Place, Denison. Jerrie was born December 17, 1940 in Denison, daughter of Wilson G. and Jessie Polsan Portman. She was educated in the public schools. She worked as a loan officer. Jerrie was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Joseph Crespo, Lonnie Foote, Sr. and Bill Armstrong; son, Joseph Crespo II; and sister, Patsy Portman. Survivors include sons, Bobby Portman and wife, Linda, of Howe; Zach Portman and wife, Marilyn, of Greenville; and Ralph Shipman of Dallas; several grandchildren: Chastity, Corey, Joseph, Jocelyn, Jessie, Mikayla, Will, Fischer, McKenna and Cabyn; aunt, Margaret Portman of Sherman; and several nieces and nephews Akers Cemetery Copyright © 2024, TXGenWeb.
