Friday, March 15, 1935 pg. 1 Mrs. Mollie Mayo Called By Death Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Price Mayo, 68, who died at her home here at 8 p.m. Wednesday after a brief illness, were held from the Howe Baptist church at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Rev. W.R. White, pastor of the Forest Avenue Baptist Church in Sherman conducted the services, assisted by Rev. W.F. Davis, pastor of the Howe Methodist church. Interment was at Akers cemetery. Pallbearers were: Chas. Henley, H.L. Huddleston, Henry Taylor, G.W. Holloway, Russell W. Bryant and J.E. Malone. Mrs. Mayo was born in Missouri May 8, 1860, She had been a resident of Howe for years. Mrs. Mayo had been a member of the Howe Baptist church for 35 years. Surviving are 2 daughters: Misses Lillie Mayo of Howe; and Ruth Mayo of Wichita Falls; 3 brothers, L.P., M.S. and Joe Mackey, all of Sherman; and 2 sisters, Mrs. L.A. Pierce of Sherman, and Mrs. C.C.
