Graveside services for Leslie Wayne Votaw, 92, of  Howe were held Wednesday afternoon at Akers Cemetery in Sherman.  He passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in Bonham.
Leslie Wayne was born April 26, 1926 to Milo and Angie Votaw.  He was a member of Western Heights Church of Christ in Sherman.  He was in the United States Navy in World War II and the Korean War.  He retired from Johnson & Johnson in Sherman.  He was a hard worker, loving husband, and grandfather to numerous grankids and great-grandkids.  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene; his mother, Angie; his father, Milo; brother, Lyle; and children, Joyce Raisor and Jimmie Bryant.  
He is survived by two brothers, Ivan and Merlyn; one sister, Darlene; three sons, Ronnie, Gary and Rene; three daughters, Lisa, Paula, and Julie; as well as numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids.- - - Scoggins Funeral Home
