  Hermon Leslie Stroud 27 May 1907 - 22 April 1989 Edith Dora Stroud 9 August 1902 - 13 September 1987 Van Alstyne Leader January 19, 1989 Services for Herman Leslie Stroud, 81, of Gunter were held Tuesday in Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, with burial in Akers Cemetery near Sherman. He died Saturday in Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman. Mr. Stroud married Edith Griffin on Feb. 29, 1929. He was a retired welder and carpenter, formerly with G. W.Taylor Tank Co. in Gunter and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gunter.
