October 30, 1926 page 3 Sherman, Texas, Oct 29.- Mrs. Frances Bell Davis, 65 years old, was found dead in bed at her residence, Mrs. Davis seemingly was in good health Wednesday eveing when she retired. She is survived by her husband, J. M. Davis and nine children as follows; Mrs. W. D. Edwards, Mrs. O. H. Walker and Mrs. John Sneed, Sherman; Mrs. C. W. Whiteaker, Wichita Falls; Mrs. C. W. Scott and W. L. Davis, Howe; F. C. Davis, Denison; L. P. Davis, Plainview; Jewel Davis, Fairfax, Ok. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters; J. M. Akers, J.A. Akers, Mrs. C. J. Howard and Mrs. Mary Akers, Sherman; W.F. Akers, Dallas; Mrs. W. D. Foller, Fayetteville, Ark. and Mrs. E. C. Town, Cleburne, and a number of grandchildren. Mrs. Davis moved here from Howe about one year ago. She had made her home at Howe for twenty-eight years. Infant Son 4 January 1888 - 6 January 1888 s/o J.M. & F. B.
