ROSS WOOD Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Ross C. Wood, 66, Route 3, Sherman. She was a sister of Mrs. Jewell Stegall of Howe. Mrs. Wood died at 12:45 a.m. Monday in a Sherman hospital. Rites were held at the Grand Avenue Church of Christ with interment in Akers Cemetery. Mrs. Wood was born in Howe, January 19, 1902. She was the former Beatrice Stark and was married August 6, 1919 in Sherman. She was a graduate of high school here. Other survivors include her husband of Sherman; a son, Dwayne Wood of Redland, California; a daughter, Mrs. Dora Rigdon of Sherman; another sister Mrs. Sadler Odom of Sherman; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
