WOMAN DIES IN ACCIDENT
Funeral services for Doreen Ward of Howe were held Thursday. She died Sunday, April 10, following a motorcycle accident Saturday night. At the time of her death she was 29.
She was born in England on January 24, 1948. Her father, one brother and two sisters still live in England.
She married Glen Ward on July 17, 1969 at Idabel, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Corinna Sally Ward; and one son, Glenn Lester Lionel Ward. The family lives in Howe.
Funeral services were at Bethel Baptist Church in Howe with burial at Akers Cemetery. Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne was in charge of arrangements.
