THEY KEPT KATY CARS IN GOOD CONDITION WHEN MOST OF DENISON WORKED FOR THE RAILROAD ![]() Before steel underframes for railroad cars appeared and even before the airbrake was fully adopted, the group pictured above were veterans in car maintenance at the Katy car shops here. ![]() This was back in 1904 when the picture belonged to W.B. Senter, 1330 West Woodard St., was taken.
