Al Fowler who was locomotive engineer on the Chictaw division of the Katy nearly 30 years ago, was in the city the past week mingling with friends. Fowler brought the 3rd engine into Denison after the Katy was completed to Texas. He pulled frieght and passengers for a number of years on the Choctaw division. He raised his family here. Mrs. Fowler is dead. Fowler has been at work on the Interurban line between Dallas and Ft. Worth. Al was in a bad wreck on the Ft. Worth and Denver a few years ago and received injuries from which he has never recovered.
