January 21, 1908 BAD FIRE AT DENISON Three Hundred Tons of Coal in Katy Yards and Coal Chutes Destroyed Denison, Tex., Jan. 21 - The Katy railroad suffered a $30,000 fire early this morning, when the flames destroyed three hundred tons of coal in the yards here. The coal chutes, eleven cars and the sand house were destroyed. The loss of the coal will cripple train service.
