This week we publish other information contained in the old paper, as follows: The Plow & Hammer carried a directory of State and county officers, churches and secret societies. Hughes, Sheriff J.R. Elliott, Justice of the Peace N.T. Stubbs, Constable of Precinct No. 3 J.F. Archer, pastor of the Methodist Church R.F. Jenkins, pastor of the Baptist Church R.A. Gay, pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church The Church of Christ was listed in the directory but no pastor was given. J.L. Medearis was Worshipful Master and C.L. Umberger was Secretary of Kentucky Lodge, A.F. & A.M. W.T. Noe was Dictator and D.R. Lewis was reporter of Whitewright Lodge, K. of H. Jas. Ashley was C.C. and J.C. Ayres was K. of R. and S. of Calanthe Lodge, No. 117, K. of P. T.K. McMillin was Noble Grand and W.J. Buie was Secretary of Whitewright Lodge, I.O.O.F. J.H. Burgher was High Priest and T.K. McMillin was Secretary of Whitewright Chapter, R.A.M. J.U. Biggers was G.O. and H.
