DOWN MEMORY LANE
Remember 10 years ago in Whitewright...

Mr. and Mrs. John Ball and children of Sherman were Sunday guests in the home of Mrs. Beulah Huseman along with Mr. and Mrs. Grady Williams of Dallas and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sadler of Bowie.
Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Billner and children spent the weekend with Capt. and Mrs. George Rutherford at San Antoinio.
Russell Summers presented Jess Rhemet, president of the Sherman Rotary Club, who showed slides of the recent convention of Rotary International at Tokyo, Japan.
The Chi Xi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Monday with Mrs. Houston Darwin as hostess.   Various committees met and did work on the yearbook.

And just 8 years ago in Whitewright...
Dr. Paul E. Geers attended the annual scientific assembly of the Texas Academy of General Practice at San Antonio last week-end. His family accompanied him.
Mrs. Vona Mae Cook was honored for 20 years of service with Community Public Service in the utility's Northeast Texas Division office.
Mrs. Carl Holland entertained her First Baptist Church Sunday School Class of 11-year-old girls with a party.  Eight girls attended.
Mrs.  Ron Faison entertained her bridge club with Mrs. James Edward making high score.
The year of Jubilee was the topic when the W.M.U. of the First Baptist Church met for a program.
