On its 12th anniversary Lively & Co. offered good dress gingham for 10c per yard and percale for 10c per yard. Mrs. Roscoe Gillett and Mrs. Grady Gillett entertained the Blue Bird Club with a bunco party. 40 Years Ago: March 18, 1926 At a party Wednesday afternoon in the home of Mrs. J.H. Waggoner, the engagement of Miss Louise LaRoe and R.B. Mack of Frederick, Oklahoma was announced with a wedding date of March 28. Mr. Arthur Griffin and Miss Cordelia Bowen of the Orangeville community were married Saturday. W.J. Looney opened a new furniture store here last Friday morning. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Claud Sears on Sunday. 35 Years Ago: March 19, 1931 Mr. Reid Wilson, formerly of Whitewright, and Miss Lucile Morgan of Holden, Missouri, were married Sunday.
