Womack-Robinson House





The house was built by W.O. Womack.  By 1914, W.O. Womack was living in Dallas.  The home was later owned by Will Holland and Grover Gillet.   The home was used as a rent house for many years.  It was remodeled in  the 1940 by Roscoe Gillet.

R.A. Gillet has purchased from his brother, Grover Gillet of Lubbock, the large two-story dwelling on West Main street, known as the Womack home.  He will improve the dwelling and move into it.

The home was owned by Joe Robinson in the 1960s and was destroyed by fire in October 1985.
