WHITEWRIGHT NOTES

Whitewright, Tex., June 29 - The protracted meeting being conducted at the Christian Church by Elder White continues to grow in interest.  Elder White is a man of more than ordinary ability, a very forcible and eloquent speaker and the church here was fortunate in securing his services.
The Whitewright Dramatic Club will present "Because I Love You" at the opera house tomorrow night.
George Smith, who has been attending school in Chicago, returned yesterday.
A.J. Short of Denison was here yesterday.
Miss Bonnie Akens of Denison is visiting friends here.
Ray Luck, who has for several years been assistant postmaster here, left Monday for Childress, where he has accepted a position with the Ft. Worth and Denver Railway.
George Montgomery of Maryetta, I.T., returned home yesterday after a short visit to relatives and friends here.
T.S. Garrison, candidate for state treasurer, was here yesterday.
Prof. F.E. Butler and family left today for Arlington, where they will make their future home.
Fred Truett left today for Myra, Tex.
W.P. Vaughn of Ida is here on business today.
