Sherman Daily Democrat Wednesday, February 15, 1911 pg. 8 Whitesboro To the Democrat: Whitesboro, Feb. 13 - The splendid rain that has fallen recently and that is still falling has put the people in fine spirits. We trust the rain may continue for some time yet. Mrs. R.J. Kennedy was hostess to the P.E.O. club Thursday. The call session was for the purpose of initiating Miss Bess Marichal into Chapter A. The floral decorations were violets and each guest was favored with a tiny bouquet tied with the P.E.O. colors, yellow and white. Miss Rosa Lee Thompson came home from the Denton normal to spend Saturday with her father's family. Lawrence Jamison of Sherman visited his sister, Mrs. Jesse Godwin, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Mills and Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Slover were in Sherman last week to see "The Newlyweds." Miss Dollie Hall of Sherman visited her sister, Miss Ida Mae Hall, Sunday. Mrs. B.L.
