June 28, 1937 Whitesboro Centennial, 1873 - 1973 Historical edition Lewis Leslie Judd was born in Kentucky on October 5, 1883 and died in 1966; Mrs. Judd, the Miss Mae Brooks, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. H.J. Brooks, was born in Whitesboro January 1, 1890. The Judds were early settlers in the Whitesboro area and were members of Lewis Leslie "L.L." Judd family. Mr. and Mrs. Judd were married August 30, 1908 in Gainesville by Rev. A.J. Harris, a Baptist minister. They had three children: Darcy Judd, Mrs. J.S.
