Frances G. Jamison  was born 1847 in Mississippi, son of  J.K. Jamison and Susan Ewing, both born in Alabama.  The 1850 Itawamba Co., Mississippi census indicates that Susan Ewing Jamison is a widow, living with possibly a younger sister, Caroline, and her father-in-law, Joseph Jamison, aged 62.

Frances and Amanda Quillen wed January 7, 1880 in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas.
