The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, April 18, 1886 pg. 7 Whitesboro is at last to have a bank. The firm will be composed of J.O. Edmondson of Calhoun, Missouri, and H.H. Robertson of Whitesboro. The name of the bank will be "The Grayson County Bank," President J.O. Edmondson; cashier, C.L. Simpson. The bank will open for business July 1st, with ample capital to meet business requirements.
