July 30, 1879 In conversation with a gentleman from Whitesboro, we learn that our old friend J.J. Collins of this city, is doing a rattling business in Whitesboro, in fact he is considered the boss grocer of that town. While we are glad to hear of his success, yet we are not at all stonis hed at the same. Collins keeps nothing but the best for sale, and some how or another, sells his goods at rock bottom prices. His employes are attentive and polite which is another inducement for customers. It does not take peopple a long time to find these things out, hence the liberal patronage.
