A letter was received yesterday from Cliff McMahon, secretary of the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, stating that plans for entertaining Whitesboro have been completed.
At the intersection of Highway 77 and 82 just outside of Gainesville a motorcycle escort will meet the caravan and escort the visitors into Gainesville.  The caravan will parade downtown Gainesville streets before going to the fair grounds where special parking space  has been arranged.  A Committee from the Gainesville Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce will welcome the visitors.
Approximately 75 cars have been lined up by a committee composed of Homer Huff, L.O. Muncy and R.S. Watson but at least 100 cars are expected.  Those who have not been contacted  and will furnish a car are asked to notify the committee.
Neighboring communities have been asked by President Simmons to join the Rotary club in observing "Whitesboro Day" at the fair.
