WHITE ROCK
To the Democrat:
White Rock, Tex., December 9 - There is a good deal of cotton to gather in this community owing to the lateness of the crop and the unfavorable weather the latter part of the fall.
A very good acreage of wheat has been sown and a good stand has been obtained in most instances, and there will more than likely be a good acreage of oats sown, all of which will help to cut down the acreage of cotton which is one of the things that must be done if the growers expect to receive a fair price for the staple.
There was a speaking Thursday night in the interest of the Federal Farm Bureau.  There was a good attendance and a great deal of interest manifested.  There has already been a good list of members secured in this district.

Mr. and Mrs. Davis will visit in Dallas and Ft. Worth for a few days after which they will make their home at Wichita Falls where the groom holds a responsible position with the Nunn Electrical Company.  The best wishes of their many friends here go with them for a long and happy wedded life.
