Arch Hatfield returned Sunday to his home near Madill, Oklahoma. Mrs. Willie Dawson and Misses Cora and Ollie McAfee spent Sunday with Miss Myrtle Carter. Miss Myrtle Batts visited Miss Lela Kendry Sunday. Lee Rich is visiting his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Wendt and family of Delaware Bend. Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Kendig spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Taylor of Plainview. Messrs. Allie Barrett and McLain Price of Sherman attended church at this place Sunday. Mrs. Mattie Porter is visiting her nephew, Dick Hatfield and family, near Madill, Oklahoma. Mr. W.S. McBee of Sherman attended church at this place Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hatfield and children visited the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Rich. Miss Lois Wall of Sherman spent Sunday with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Blankenship spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ura Bond. Misses Mary and Annie Roeder and Sue Chambers visited Misses Elsie and Gertrude Hoeldtke Sunday evening. Mr. Dennis Brown and family of Pecan spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W. Payne. Mr. and Mrs. Batts of near Sherman visited Mr. and Mrs. Ura Bond Sunday. Everett Knox and Miss Esther Kreager visited the latter's cousin, Miss Norma Howell, of Howe Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harrison and family spent Sunday with the former's parents near Hagerman.
