Bud Pilcher was in Whitesboro Wednesday. Herbert Watt went to Dallas Friday. Gomer Wiley went to Pilot Point Friday. J.C. Graham and wife were in Tioga Friday. Tom Grissom and wife went to Van Alstyne Saturday. Jim Clark's little girl has been real sick from pneumonia. C.E.Robinson and little son, Harrold, were in Tioga yesterday. Geo. Graham went to Collinsville last Thursday. Bud Pilcher went to Sherman yesterday to serve as a juror. Miss Gertrude Baity returned to her home at Southmayde today. Claude Wiley took in the street carnival at Whitesboro Saturday night. Miss Arbelle Robinson went to Southmayde today to visit. Miss Inez Graham is on our sick list this week. Victor Hite visited in Whitesboro last week and incidentally took in the street carnival. The finest rain of the season fell here Saturday night, Sunday and Sunday night filling tanks and putting...up. S.G. Smith of the Early Wheeler Orchard reports the condition of the peach crop to be good. He states that the work...of harvesting the peach crop will begin about 10 days earlier than last year.
