Friday, May 16, 1913 pg 5 WELCH ITEMS Welch, Texas - May 12 - Jim Pilcher and wife are entertaining a new girl baby. Remember the big two day picnic here on the 17th and 18th of July. A crowd of our young people attended preaching at Liberty Hill Sunday. Claude Wiley went to Sadler Saturday. Len and Bruce Hite were in Whitesboro Saturday. Geo. Graham and wife were in Tioga Friday. Miss Arabella Robinson returned from Southmayde today. Miss Mae Graham entertained a number of her friends with a birthday party Saturday night. The annual working of the Patton Graveyard will be held on Saturday, May 24th. Let all who can come and help in cleaning off the yard. Mrs. S. D. Mashburn and children of Burkburnet are here visiting her sister, Mrs. S. R. Smith. Mr. Sharp and family of Tenn. are here visiting Mrs. Sharp's father, R. Y. Anderson and family. A number of our citizens met and planted T. J. Roberts' cotton for him last Wednesday. Jack Varley and son, Herbert, returned from Ada Okla, Saturday.
