January 14, 1939 Page 1 Clifford Stevens Loses His Left Eye Clifford Stevens, age 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stevens, underwent an operation for the removal of his left eye Saturday at the Wilson N. Jones hospital in Sherman. He was injured one day last week while cutting timber between Bells and Sherman. Late news comes that he is improving.
