Newspaper Clippings 1931 Colonel C. T. Curtis, owner and publisher of the Tom Bean Times, a weekly newspaper published at Tom Bean. He has been in every department of the printer's trade, is one of the few old-fashioned hand compositors left in the country and has held almost every type of position on a newspaper. Colonel Curtis has been on such papers as the Atlanta (Ga.) Constitution, San Antonio Express, Fort Worth Record, the old Fort Worth Gazette and many others, having been in the profession all his life. He is a native of Homer, Courtland County, N.J., and a Methodist and a democrat. He is buried in Whitemound Cemetery alongside his wife.
