TOM BEAN NEWS
Mr. and Mrs. J.I. Wetzel have moved to the dwelling house on the Gus Lupher farm.  They formerly resided in the Jameson community.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Benson, Mrs. Morgan Clayton, and Mrs. D.S. Thompson attended the Baptist workers conference at Van Alstyne Tuesday.  Rev. McSpadden was also there.
Mrs. Nora Minchey of Commerce is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. A.D. Mullendore.
Emmett Penn has been confined to his home in Whitewright suffering an attack of influenza.
Miss Estelle Baxter was a Sherman visitor Monday.
Rev. Howard McSpadden will preach at the Baptist church Sunday.
Mrs. Ruth Pennel was in Sherman Monday on business.
J.L. Baxter visited his sister Mrs. Lillie Simmons Tuesday.
Ervin Hughes of Whitewright was a visitor here Monday.
Hubert Grammer of Howe was a visitor here Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Pitts of Gunter were visitors here for the week end.
Mr. and Mrs. I.H. Miller and J.M. Miller were in Sherman Sunday at the bedside of their sister, Mrs. J.W. Johnson.
Mrs. Neva Binion has gone to Sherman to reside with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Yowell.
Mrs. Clifford Stephens is ill at the family residence here.
Mrs. Robert Cole and daughter, Bobbie Mae, are in Whitewright visiting her father, L.R. Scott.
M.M. Miller, who has been seriously ill, is reported improved slightly.
