The Waco Evening News February 23, 1892 Tioga, Tex., Feb. 23 ~ Dr. C.R. Bryant of Pilot Point, while driving a two-horse wagon into Tioga, came very near ending his life at the south crossing. While on the track the northbound passenger train ran into his wagon, throwing him out and tearing it to pieces. His back, spine and left leg were injured. The doctor says the injuries are not necessarily fatal. Dr. Bryant is a veteran of the Mexican War.
