Friday, April 24, 1908 TIOGA Tioga, Tex., April 22 - Miss Florence Wharton came in Sunday to visit her mother who is sick at the Cottage. Bingley Pope of Denton visited here Sunday. Mrs. Grif Morton returned last Friday from a visit to Fort Worth. Doss and Elmore Carter of Southmayd visited relatives here Sunday. Walter McDonald came in Sunday from Sherman. Mrs. J.A. Leftwich went to Plano Saturday to visit her daughter, Mrs. H.H. Mershon. W.F. and C.C. Shumate returned Sunday from Dallas. Miss Mattie Brown visited in Denton Sunday. Mrs. J.D. Wadsworth and children returned home to Nash, Texas, first of the week after a visit with her mother, Mrs. A. Cutler. Mrs. Y.C. Bradley returned home to Oklahoma City Monday after a visit with relatives here. J.M. Parks went to Sherman Monday, and while returning home Tuesday had the misfortune to lose his pocketbook, which contained about $16. The book was missed shortly after leaving the train, but so far has found no trace of it. Miss Laura Dunham left Sunday for Wichita Falls. Mrs. Long returned home to Sherman Monday after a visit with her daughter, Mrs. J.T. Rigg. O.C. Kyle and wife of Kansas City are visiting his brother, C.L. Kyle and family.
