Thursday, October 2, 1919 pg. 6 SOUTH GALE The recent rains are delaying the farmers in gathering their crops. Miss Fannie McCarroll returned home Saturday from a month's stay with her brother and family in Denison. Mr and Mrs. Andrew Johnson and little daughter, Annie May, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Anderson Saturday night and Sunday. Among those who attended church at Cherry Mound Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Jno. W. Harris and Mr. and Mrs. F.R. Jennings. Clarence Jennings, Johnnie Anderson and Floyd Miller were the guests of John Clement Sunday. Messrs. Hill and Givings were in town on business Tuesday. Rev. Bass from Calamus will preach here the first Saturday night and Sunday in October. Miss Grace Clement spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. H.L. Anderson. R.J. Outlaw and children were in Cherry Mound community on business Sunday. The health of the community if fairly good at this writing. Misses Mary and Julia O'Conner and brothers spent Saturday afternoon with their uncle, Dr. O'Conner.
