Thursday, October 16, 1919 pg. 10 SOUTH GALE The cloudy wet weather is hindering the farmers in digging their potatoes. The school opened here Monday morning with Mrs. N.E. Carr as teacher. Mr. and Mrs. Jno. W. Harris were in town on business Friday. Mr. and Mrs. W.C. McCarroll were guests of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Ackason Sunday. F.P. Clement and children, Frances and John, also Lonnie and Johnnie Anderson, attended the State Fair at Dallas last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Outlaw and children attended the circus in Denison Monday. Miss Grace Clement has been suffering with toothache, but is better. Oscar Lance made a business trip to Bells Monday. A.W. Hill, mother and children, attended the circus Monday. Messrs. Anderson, Hill, Givings, Clement were in Denison Saturday. The committee representing the 75 million campaign will meet here the fourth Sunday in October. Everybody cordially invited to come.
