Monday, August 11, 1919 pg. 8 SOUTH GALE The protracted meeting closed Wednesda night with 2 additions to the church. Miss Ruth Lynch returned home Monday afternoon from a week's visit with Miss Grace Clement. Miss Ruth Chumbly from Kentuckytown, Texas, visited in this community and attended the protracted meeting. John Harris, who has been afflicted with rheumatism, is better at present. A.W. Hill is working in town at present. Little Miss Willie B. McCarroll, who has been visiting at Leonard, returned home last week. Misses Lucille and Ida Oxendine from Denison spent Sunday with Miss Grace Clement. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wintzel and daughter from Sherman spent a few hours Monday with Mrs. R.J. Outlaw. Clarence Jennings is on the sick list. Mr. and Mrs. J.T. McCarroll and Miss Fannie spend Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Harrod. Grandma Harris spent Sunday with Mrs. F.P. Clement.
