  SHERMAN'S FIRST BAKERY This
1879 view of the Star Bakery shows how Andrew Hanson shared his
building - which was Sherman's first baker - with the Gem Cafe.
Hanson's store was the first to offer delivery service and had the
first commercially made ice cream in Sherman. Hanson is credited
with the first ambulance service provided in his delivery wagon.
