Sherman, Tex., Oct. 8 - W. D. Button and Fannie Tucker were licensed to marry today.
Owing to repairs and the shifting of the track at certain street corners the electric railway has been shut down to-day.
The revival services at the Willow Street Methodist and Lamar Street Baptist churches are attracting large crowds, the numbers increasing nightly.
From the wheat raisers of Grayson county comes the apprehension that the continued drought will be injurious to the wheat prospects.
Seventeen convicts from Fannin county were taken from Bonham to Fort Worth via Sherman to-day.
Notwithstanding there has been apprehension of dengue on account of the continued warm days and cool nights there is not a case in the city at the present time.
