Grayson Hotel was built in 1927 at a cost of $350,000. It stood
on the northwest corner of Travis St. and Mulberry St. The hotel
included commodious rooms and baths, a fashionable dining room and
meeting rooms which were used by clubs, schools and businesses. The First Texas Savings Association is located on the original site of "The Grayson".
