CITY BANK ELECTION
(From the Courier of January 10, 1876)
At the annual election of the City J.B. Fairchild was elected president, Bank of Sherman on last Tuesday, Mr. D.W. Paok, vice-president, and Mr. C.C. Jones, cashier.  These gentlemen have been favorable known in connection with this bank since its organization, and their selection by the board of directors is but an echo of public sentiment.  This bank is one of the indespensable institutions of Sherman, and in the hands of its newly elected officers its popularity will continue to increase.
