SADLER ITEMS
Rev. J.W. Griffin has returned home from Harless Chapel Denison where he has been helping Rev. Short in a revivial meeting.  There were forty-two conversions.
Mrs. J.N. Reid was operated on at the Sherman Hospital Sunday.
Miss Gretchen Eldridge of Collinsville was a guest of Mildred Eldridge over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Spaulding and family attended church services in Whitesboro Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Franklin were transacting business in Sherman Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Dickey and sons of Pottsboro were weekend guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Harshbarger.
Bro. Chaffee was a business visitor in Dallas last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mattingly and daughter, Malba Joyce, of Sherman were Sunday guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Kinslow.
Rev. J.W. Griffin returned to his home in Elmo Sunday.
Mrs. Wm. Godwin and daughter, Fae, spent the weekend in Whitesboro guest of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Jake Godwin, and her sisters, Mesdames Hannie Watson and Green Meeks.
J.C. Walker, 30, was fatally injured at Kent Saturday afternoon when he was run over by a truck.  His funeral was preached at the Baptist church in Whitesboro and interment was made in Bethlehem Cemeter, Sadler.
On the sick list this week: Mrs. G.W. Nowlin, Mrs. E.L. Goss, Mrs. Lottie Hackworth and Rev. John Griffin.
