![]() Sherman Daily Democrat March 1, 1911 pg. 4 SADLER Sadler, February 28 - We are having rather gloomy weather at present. Brother Kariker preached at the Methodist church Sunday. Brother Lee of Denison preached two very interesting sermons Sunday to a large and attentive audience at the Christian church. The play at the school house Friday night was a grand success: only 10c admission and the amount taken in was $19.20. Mr. Kinslow and son, Mr. S. Hall and son, Raymond, and Master Lee Siebert, president, and Walter Eldridge, secretary of the corn club at Sadler, all attended the joint corn club meeting at the court house in Sherman Saturday. They say they were royally treated. Miss Cornelius Saunders of Basin attended the Rebekah Lodge here Friday night. The young folks enjoyed themselves at a party Saturday night at Mr. Walter Sadler's. Among those that dined with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Sunday were Brother Lee, Mrs. Bassett, Mrs. Osmond. Rev. Reeves and family attended services Sunday at the Christian church. Mr. Bert Spaulding and wife were the guests of Mr. Spaulding's parents Sunday. Mr. S.W. Harshbarger and wife of Basin attended church here Sunday. Mrs. Albert Foster of Whitesboro attended church here Sunday. MIss Effie Bonear of Whitesboro was the guest of Mrs. Hays Sunday. Mr. Charley Bruno of Denison was a Sadler visitor Sunday.
