Over $900 in state aid was received but the Pilot Grove School District is one of the smallest in the county, with the negro school in the south part of the district taking a big slice off that side. It is no little proposition which has confronted the people here in maintaining 2 schools, and one a high school and rated one among the best rural high schools in the state. The trustees and teachers are co-operating in running the school as long as possible.
