PILOT GROVE NEWS
We were visited by a good all night rain Saturday night, which left our roads in bad shape for travel Sunday.
Mrs. Finnel and her mother, Mrs, Viser, had business in Whitewright Saturday afternoon, also Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Farr.
Mr. and Mrs. S.F. Garland were visitors in Dallas Saturday and Sunday.
Miss Rosa Judd spent the week-end with her parents.  She now has a position in Dallas.  Miss Fannie Garland has also obtained a position in that city.
G.H. Judd arrived home Thursday with his discharge from the Navy.  Mack Harfield is also back. We are glad to see these boys back home again.  Clark Meeks joined his mother here Thursday night.  He, too, is just back from "over there."
Miss Lilia Viser is visiting her sister at Floyd.
We learn that one of our residents is wearing a broad smile, owing to oil having been struck in a well he has some shares in.  We are glad if some one can hit it lucky.
